Job description

CNC Operator - Monroe CTVolt is immediately hiring for CNC Operator Monroe, CT.As a CNC Operator you will:Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment according to work instructions.Load materials, tools, and programs; select proper fixtures and cutting tools.Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instrumentsMonitor machine performance and make offsets or minor adjustments to maintain quality.Inspect parts throughout production and document results accurately.Identify equipment or quality issues and escalate problems promptly.This is a Full-time Temp to Perm opportunity.2nd Shift 3 pm – 11:30 pmThe ideal CNC Operator candidate will have:High school diploma or GED.Previous CNC machine operation or related machining experience preferred.Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining symbols and tolerances.Working knowledge of precision measuring tools.Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete production documentation.Experience with CNC setup, tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting.Familiarity with G-code or common CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak.Experience in a production or precision-manufacturing environment.Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.Pay Rate: $25 - $30 Per HourBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
