CNC Operator | 2nd Shift | $23/hrSchedule: MondayFriday, 2:30 PM11:00 PMPay: $23.00/hourHours: Approximately 4045 hours per weekEnvironment: Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facilityJob DescriptionWe are hiring a CNC Operator for a 2nd shift position in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on machining role working with CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment.You’ll set up and operate CNC machines, make basic adjustments, inspect finished parts, and help keep production running. This is a good opportunity for someone with CNC experience who wants to build their setup and machining skills while working with a variety of equipment.What You’ll DoSet up and operate CNC mills and lathesLoad and unload parts and materialsUpload programs and make machine offsetsPerform tool changes and basic machine adjustmentsRead blueprints and follow part specificationsInspect parts using micrometers and calipersPerform routine quality checks throughout productionDeburr, clean, and prepare finished parts for shipmentAssist with CNC grinders, Swiss-style machines, and other equipmentPerform minor assembly of machined componentsMaintain a clean and organized work areaWhat We’re Looking For1-3 years of CNC machining experience preferredExperience operating CNC mills and/or lathesAbility to read blueprintsExperience using micrometers and calipersBasic understanding of G-code and CNC machine operationExperience with tool changes and machine offsetsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededExperience with Haas, Fanuc, Swiss-style CNC equipment, or CNC grinders is a plus, but training is available.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
