Job Summary
The CNC Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and operates CNC mills and lathes in a high-volume production environment. This role produces plastic components, wood, and laminated products while maintaining accurate setups, consistent quality, and safe, efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC mills and lathes for production runs.
Perform CNC programming and adjust machine parameters as needed.
Load materials and operate equipment during high-volume production.
Perform tool changes and monitor tool condition.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
Perform quality control checks and dimensional measurements.
Complete routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operating issues.
Follow safety procedures and production requirements.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in CNC machining.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with CNC machine operation and setup.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of precision measurement and quality control.
Proficiency using calipers and micrometers.
Ability to troubleshoot CNC machining issues.
Strong attention to detail.
