CNC OperatorExpress Employment Professionals is recruiting a CNC Operator for a precision metal fabrication shop in Salem, OR. In this fast-paced environment, you'll support the production of engineered steel components—working with cutting, forming, machining, and finishing processes—ensuring quality and efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or lasers)Load raw materials, execute machine cycles, and monitor outputsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD filesVerify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar toolsMake tool adjustments, handle tool offsets, and perform proof runsReport machine errors and maintain accurate production logsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized workspaceQualifications include:1+ years of CNC operation experience in manufacturing or metal fabricationProficiency reading blueprints and CAD/model filesFamiliarity with G/M codes and precision measuring toolsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualitySolid mechanical aptitude and basic math skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
