At the Ideal Tridon Group, connections aren't just what we make—they're the heart of everything we do.We are seeking a CNC Operator for our Foster Manufacturing Plant located in Springfield, MO.Schedule: Monday - FridayShift: 1st 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMJob Summary:Operates CNC machines and performs setups and tooling changes as instructed by a supervisor.Essential Functions of Job:Set up and operation of numerical control machine tools that automatically mill, drill and broach metal partsMay be adjusting the machine for feed and speed, change of cutting tools or adjusting machine controls when appropriateSelect, measure, assemble and set machine tools such as drill bits and milling or cutting tools using precision gauges and instrumentsOperate multiple machines at the same time when not setting upFollow specifications or procedures for tooling set-upMaintenance work on machines as neededJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED2+ years' experience in CNC operationsAble to do minor programming editingAble to read and interpret precision drawingsAble to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, ring and plug gaugesBe very organized and have high attention to detailLifting 40-50 lbs regularly and 70lbs occasionally and standing for long periods of timeAn Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
