WFA Staffing is currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Tool Maker for a growing manufacturing company in the Milwaukee area. We are looking for a mechanically inclined candidate with strong CNC machining experience who is comfortable working in a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes
Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers
Inspect finished parts to ensure proper tolerances and quality standards
Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
Assist with tool making, repair, and maintenance as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
Previous CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, or Tool Maker experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Blueprint reading experience
Knowledge of machining processes and tooling
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Ability to work independently and maintain tight tolerances
Tool & die or mold-making experience is a plus
CNC programming/editing experience is a plus
