CNC OperatorStart your new career as a CNC Operator with MAU at Southern Aluminum Finishers in Villa Rica, GA. As a CNC Operator, you will set up, program, and operate CNC fabrication equipment to produce quality metal components according to drawings and customer specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity.What We Offer:Pay of $17–$28 per hour, based on experienceFirst shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PMDirect-hire opportunityHealth benefitsWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent2–5 years of CNC machine operating experienceExperience with machine setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment preferredG-code, M-code, and conversational programming experience preferredAbility to read production instructions, drawings, and blueprintsBasic computer and math skills, including use of a tape measureAbility to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding workAvailability to work overtime as neededACT WorkKeys score of 4+ in Reading for Information and Applied MathematicsSubstance abuse testing is a condition of employmentWhat You'll Do as a CNC Operator:Operate CNC and fabrication equipment, including brake presses, shears, saws, rollers, routers, and turretsVerify machine settings, tooling, materials, and programs before productionRead drawings and measure materials to ensure accurate fabricationSet up and adjust tooling and make basic machine adjustmentsInspect finished materials for quality and customer specificationsIdentify and report machine, material, or quality issuesFollow production schedules, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standardsSupport continuous improvement and perform other duties as assigned
