CNC Operator (USA)Schedule: Friday to Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.Location: Groveton, NHReport to: Production ForemanThe CNC operators are responsible for monitoring and operating our CNC (computer numerically controlled) lathe machine to cut metal used in the manufacturing of Rotobec products.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for monitoring and operating CNC (computer numerically controlled) machine.Load materials into the CNC machine.Calculate the amount of material to be fed into the machine and adjust the operating speed based on vibrations and sounds that may indicate malfunctionRead, follow, and understand blueprintsInspect the fabricated part to make sure that it matches specifications from blueprintUnderstands and performs set-up of each unit correctlySafely operate equipment, machinery, and overhead craneMeets or exceeds production targets as directed by Production ForemanKeep area, machines, tools and equipment clean, organized and clear of debrisAdhere to company safety policies, procedures and Good Manufacturing PracticesParticipate and successfully complete all required safety trainingWilling to cross-train as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Production ForemanJob RequirementsTechnical degree in a related field or 1 year or more comparable manufacturing experience deemed valid by the employerAbility to perform quality work in compliance with the required standards as demonstrated in previous employment/experienceApplicant must have excellent operator skillsMust have excellent knowledge of all measuring devicesUnderstand and identify parts from blueprints/CAD drawingsKnowledge of lathe and milling machinesPhysically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbsMust be able to communicate well with others and have good organizational skills.Able to travel to Canada for training purposesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPaid health insuranceLife and disability insuranceVision and Dental available (optional)Paid vacation and holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)On-the-job Training and Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral ProgramCompany Events and team-building initiatives$2.50/hour shift differential36 hours worked, paid to 40
