Job description
CNC OperatorA growing manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join their Machine Shop team. This position is responsible for safely operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision parts and components from materials such as metal and plastic. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, inspections, and maintaining quality production standards in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery including milling and turning equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specificationsTranslate production instructions into machine commandsLoad raw materials and components into machineryPerform test runs and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and qualityMonitor machine operations throughout production cyclesInspect finished products using measuring tools and compare against specificationsPerform daily machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure functionalityMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWork collaboratively with team members and supervisorsFollow all workplace safety procedures and company policiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCNC certification, machining coursework, or technical training preferredMinimum of 2 years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods during shiftsAbility to sit and work at a computer as neededFrequent use of hands, arms, and hearing/communication skillsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds independently and heavier items with team assistanceWhat We're Looking ForReliable attendance and strong work ethicCommitment to safety and qualityAbility to work independently and within a team environmentPositive attitude and professionalism in the workplaceThis is a great opportunity for a motivated CNC professional looking to join a stable and growing manufacturing environment.
