Millennium Machine and Tool is looking for responsible and experienced CNC Mill Operators and Machinists to work in our expanding, innovative and diverse company in Newton, Kansas. We work with aerospace and commercial industries and employ less than 100 people with a long history of a dependable workload and never having a layoff. We are looking for men and women with some experience who are looking to grow with a rapidly growing company. Starting pay is dependent on job knowledge, experience and skill level. If you are interested in a new atmosphere and have a good attitude and work ethic, we are the company for you.
Job Description
CNC Operators and CNC Machinists - 1st Shift Openings
Variety of work using 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines
WORK SCHEDULES:
1st Shift Hours - Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm and Friday, 6:00 am - 10:00 am
Typical work week is 40-45 hours a week. Overtime available on a volunteer basis.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED / PREFERRED
Understand precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, setup sheets, work instructions, etc.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Daily team communication and collaboration.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES
Requires a strong, related work history.
Can work well with others.
Observes safety procedures by using equipment properly.
Dependable attendance.
Follows instructions.
EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED / PREFERRED
One to three years of experience operating CNC equipment.
High school degree or equivalent
