CNC Or Manual Lathe Machinist (Steady Rest)Wauconda, IL, United States$ 30.00 - 35.00 (US Dollar)Position: Experienced Machinist in Lathe and MillWe are seeking an experienced machinist with expertise in both lathe and mill operations for a top client of ours. As a leading manufacturing and consulting firm in the Web Machinery and Roller Manufacturing Industries, we pride ourselves on our high-precision manufacturing capabilities and our commitment to delivering top-quality services and solutions to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate lathe and mill machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specificationsMonitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances are metPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective machining processesInspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure they meet specificationsKeep accurate records of production and maintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, with expertise in both lathe and mill operationsStrong knowledge of machine tools, cutting tools, and measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExperience with CNC programming and operating is a plusExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work with precisionWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processesHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferredWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
