Job description
CNC Press Brake OperatorWe are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to set up and operate CNC press brake equipment for metal forming and fabrication. This position is based in Hammond, a vibrant city known for its rich industrial history and proximity to Chicago, offering a blend of urban and suburban living. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Fanuc controls/programming, reading blueprints and drawings, and performing precision bends and forming operations.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC press brake equipmentProgram and adjust Fanuc controlsForm and bend sheet metal to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsPerform metal fabrication and assemblyInspect finished parts for accuracy and qualityFollow safety and production proceduresWelding experience is a plusQualificationsStrong hands-on press brake experienceCNC setup and operation experienceFanuc programming/controls experienceBlueprint/drawing interpretationMetal fabrication experienceAbility to work independently and maintain quality standardsCompensationPay: $26–$30/hrPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
