CNC Machinist And ProgrammerA custom precision machine shop in Athens County is seeking a motivated and reliable CNC machinist and programmer to join their team. This role offers a hands-on environment with growth opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Operate or assist with operating manual lathes and O.D. grinderConversational programmingSupport machining, fabrication, and shop production tasks as assignedFollow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all timesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work areaCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesThis is a direct-hire, full-time position hiring immediately. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays are 7:30 AM to 11AM. Pay is competitive. This employer has PTO, paid holidays, and health insurance is available.Qualifications:3-5 years machining experienceConversational control programmingExperience with CNC lathes and CNC millExperience with MasterCam is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new skillsReliable, dedicated, and committed to high-quality workAbility to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
