Minimum of 4-5 years' in a CNC Programmer position - is required!
*Trade school training along with real-world experience is optimal. Location: Reisterstown, MD

Skills we are seeking: Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit, Autodesk Fusion, Multi-axis programming (3-axis/4-axis/5-axis, up to 9-axis), Mill and Lathe experience, complete setup experience

Position Summary:
We are a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense, and space OEMs and Tier I suppliers. The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry components from standard and exotic metals, supporting mission-critical civilian and defense programs.
Job Purpose -
The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to meet established standards of quality, productivity, and delivery within the assigned work cell.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and CNC lathesEquipment in-house: Mazak, DMG Mori, Okuma, Brother Industries, Doosan (DN Solutions), Haas Automation, Makino, and othersTake full responsibility for CNC programming and process execution for assigned parts and equipmentImprove manufacturing processes through tooling recommendations, fixture design, and cycle time optimizationCollaborate with machinists, operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate productionSupport new product introduction (NPI) and maintain high standards on repeat production workEnsure all programs and processes meet quality requirements, including GD&T standardsIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughputMaintain accurate documentation including work instructions and program revisionsAdhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures Requirements -
Minimum of five (5) years of CNC programming experience (mills and/or lathes)Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, and/or 5-axis)Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or similar) preferredStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvement Compensation -
$40.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on experience
