This role converts engineering drawings and CAD files into efficient machine programs, ensuring accurate part production, optimal material usage, and minimal machine downtime.Job Type: Temp-to-HireCNC Programmer Job Duties:Develop and maintain CNC programs for laser, plasma, and turret punch machines.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create machine-ready programs.Utilize nesting software to maximize material usage and reduce scrap.Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machine settings for various materials and thicknesses.Optimize programs to improve machine efficiency, cycle time, and part quality.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturability issues.Schedule:2nd Shift: 3:30pm-11:30pm Monday-FridayPay:$20+/hourly (experience based)CNC Programmer Requirements:Experience programming CNC laser, plasma, or turret punch machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and nesting software.Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and material characteristics.Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.Location: Monticello, INBenefits offered by Verstela to temp-to-hire employees:MedicalDentalVisionShort-Term DisabilityTerm Life and AD&DIdentity Theft ProtectionPrescription Plan401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
