CNC Programmer / MachinistExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist to join a fast-moving, precision-focused shop. This role is for someone who can program, set up, and run advanced CNC equipment and thrives in an environment where new parts hit the floor daily.If you enjoy variety, ownership of your work, and machining parts from print to polished finish, keep reading.Position DetailsStatus: Full-Time$24/hr - $30/hr+ DOEEnvironment: Fast-paced, collaborative, music-friendly shopKey ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC machines using MasterCamSet up and operate 5-axis Mills, live-tooling Lathes, and Wire EDM machinesRead and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawingsExecute jobs independently with minimal supervision and high precisionMaintain tight tolerances through in-process and final inspectionsTroubleshoot machining challenges and optimize processesCollaborate with team members to improve efficiency and qualityOversee projects from start to finish — from print interpretation to machining, polishing, and final presentationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentRequired Qualifications5+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent advanced skill levelHigh proficiency with MasterCamProven experience operating 5-axis milling machinesStrong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision machining principlesAbility to critically think, troubleshoot, and develop effective solutionsSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and growTeam-oriented mindset with clear communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changeoversWhat We're Looking ForA machinist who enjoys variety and problem-solving, not repetitive button-pushingSomeone who takes ownership of their work from start to finishA professional who values precision, accountability, and craftsmanshipA steady hand under pressure who still knows how to enjoy the processWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceA fun, high-skill shop environment with room to growExposure to advanced machining and complex partsA culture that values collaboration, craftsmanship, and continuous improvementYes — we play music, but we still hit tolerances
