CNC ProgrammerUPC designs and manufactures retail store fixtures, and P.O.P. displays. Located in Madison WI, we operate in a 120,000 square ft, clean facility. Family owned for over 48 years and growing, we are employee centric with great employee retention.Position SummaryInterpret drawings, and CAD/CAM files to create precise CNC programs.Develop, test, and optimize G-code for multi-axis machining centers.Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to maximize efficiency and part quality.Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot machining issues and refine manufacturing processes.Perform first-quality inspections and adjust programs to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.Maintain and update CNC program libraries, ensuring version control and documentation accuracy.Implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, scrap rates, and tooling costs.Train and mentor operators on program execution, setup procedures, and best practices.Work with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and prototype development.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field.Experience with programming and knowledge of electronics and machine tools is required.Ability to use CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks)Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blueprintsExperience with ERP Systems a plusBenefits401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Health insurance benefitsPaid holidaysAnd more
