CNC Programmer - Oregon, ILUntil Filled (CST) Manufacturing Support 9 Clay St, Oregon, IL, United States per hour The salary range provided is a general guideline and can vary depending on experience level, education, training; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience Hourly Full Time We offer a comprehensive benefits package and multiple bonus opportunities. A detailed summary is located in the Resources section.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G?code and CAM software (e.g., CamWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM).Must be able to program CNC 3-axis and 5-axis mills using Cam software.Reading complex prints, designs, able to transfer in and out of CNC machinesWork from drawings, sketches, specifications and verbal instructions to make parts.Must be able to navigate Solidworks well, while being able to design and edit models using Solidworks.Must be able to read G & M code.Must also be able to program and operate one or more of the following Specialty machines: CNC Grinder, High Speed Mills or Wire EDMs'.Must be capable and willing to train other machinists, showing them the proper way to use common shop Machine tools and inspection equipmentWork to close tolerancesAble to inspect own machined components using precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of workSetup machines for operation by othersKeep work area and equipment cleanAble to adapt to a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently on projects with little assistance.And other duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications include:High School Diploma, or equivalent3-5 years' experience in a machine shopKnowledge of precision measuring devicesThe ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and sketchesMust have at least 3 years CNC mill programming experienceCAMWorks and SolidWorks proficientA proven mechanical aptitudeAdvanced shop mathematics skillsBroad knowledge of machine shop practicesAbility to trouble-shoot and problem solveStrong work ethic and follow throughWork is subject to process and final inspectionMust consistently use safety devices when operating machinesAttention to detail a mustMust have a good attendance recordMust be able to work well with others in the shopCompany Benefits401(k) MatchingDisability InsuranceDental InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountHealth InsuranceHealth Savings AccountLife InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid Time-OffProfit SharingVision InsuranceEqual Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran
