CNC ProgrammerShift: FirstFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeDescription: The NC Programmer is responsible for the preparation and development of programs used for machine operations. Job Functions: Using CAD/CAM software, select the appropriate cutting tools and speeds/feeds for a variety of material types to create CNC programs and instructions used to run a CNC machine. Verify CNC code to engineering models to insure accuracy. Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data in order to determine the appropriate machine tool, work holding and cutter selection, machine speeds and feed rates. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC.Position Requirements - Skills: Must be proficient in the use of CATIA, and MS Office tools. Must possess the ability to utilize the software to create part geometry and subsequently develop milling CNC programs, including 3, 4, and 5 axis machines. Must possess the ability to conceive and define multiple step processes. Must be a strong team player, and continue to build cohesiveness within the organization. Attention to Detail.Education and Experience: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 years experience with CNC Programming.
