Job Description Job Description Our client, a growing manufacturing company located in the western suburbs of Chicago, is seeking skilled CNC Machinists (with set-up and programming experience ) to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC set-up and programming experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Location: Western Suburbs of Chicago, IL
Job Type: Full-Time Pay range: $24-$38/hr. Depending on experience Shift/Hours : 2nd shift -2:30pm - 11:00pm
Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments.
Modify machine offsets and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
Read work instructions and ensure parts meet quality specifications.
Inspect materials, finished products, and equipment using precision measuring tools.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Assist with training new team members in machine operation, safety procedures, and company standards.
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Production departments to improve manufacturing processes.
Provide machine coverage during operator breaks when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

CNC machine setup experience
Basic CNC programming knowledge
Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Ability to interpret production documents and follow manufacturing procedures
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications Previous ERP system experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with changing production priorities
