CNC Set-Up Technician/OperatorOne of the most trusted and leading tier-1 automotive manufacturers in the United States has created an opening for a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator with an experienced level manufacturing technical skill to work in day to day production at one of Dynamic's remanufacturing facilities.The ideal CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator will have an understanding of working in a manufacturing environment, exhibit a technical aptitude, preferably experience with deep hole drilling and assist in the production operations of the machine shop. They should be able to lift enough weight (20-50 lbs.) to perform his/her job.At Dynamic Manufacturing, we offer:An Engaging Work EnvironmentOpportunities for AdvancementTuition ReimbursementCompetitive Pay (we pay weekly!)Comprehensive Benefits Package & 401(k) MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, and more!Core ResponsibilitiesSelect the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, height stands, calipers, etc.Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated and cooled.Position and fasten work pieces.Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.Advise clients about the materials being used for finished products.Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.Work closely with Engineering and or cutting tool suppliers to continuously improve tool life.Design and create basic fixtures and toolingDeep hole drilling experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.Commitment to continuous improvement through self-education and company sponsored training.Follow instructions when given a project and take notes for personal growth.Willingness to enroll in a Tech/Trade School to expand upon Basic CNCRecognizing there is a problem with operation/machineOperate one or more CNC machines daily while maintaining all quality and safety requirements.Job description is not all inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assignedKeep work areas neat, clean, and organizedAssist team leaderRecord production dailyIdentify and isolate non-conforming productProperly and safely Load / Unload MachineQualifications3+ years of Machining and or Manufacturing experienceBasic Blueprint readingProgramming Skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 poundsAbility to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms 8 hours or moreWilling and able to work overtime and as requiredWilling to work any shift as necessaryCommunicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in EnglishStrong work ethic / Positive attitude / Self-motivatedWhy Choose Dynamic?Dynamic Manufacturing is a family owned and operated organization formed in 1955 by John Partipilo.
