Job description
CNC Setup PersonSeeking an experienced CNC Setup Person to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize a variety of CNC machining and fabrication equipment used in the production of precision components. This position works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.Responsibilities:Set up and operate Mori Seiki, Takisawa, and Hyundai CNC lathes to manufacture precision components while maintaining quality and production standards.Set up and run Takumi and Hurco CNC mills, Bridgeport mills, and a Mega Gundrilling machine to produce parts to blueprint specifications.Operate Bystronic and Amada press brakes, along with Trumpf and Bystronic laser cutters, to support fabrication and production requirements.Utilize CR Onsrud CNC routers and Hydmech saws for material processing, cutting, and machining operations.Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, program edits, first-piece inspections, and quality checks using precision measuring equipment.Qualifications:4+ years of CNC setup and operation experience, preferably with Fanuc controls.Experience with CNC lathes, mills, laser cutters, press brakes, routers, and other metal fabrication equipment.Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, gauges, comparators, and other precision measuring tools.Experience machining stainless steel and non-ferrous materials; CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus.Strong math, communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality and safety.Benefits:Medical PlanDental PlanVision/Eyewear planIL Paid Leave Hours401kLife insurancePrescription drug reimbursementShort-term disabilityReferral bonusesFour Ways To Apply for this position: (pick one)Email your resume to online and submit the application to the Crystal Lake, IL locationCall or text at Visit our office at 580 E.
