CNC Setup OperatorExpress Employment Professionals is assisting a local leader in their search to fill a CNC Setup Operator in Bloomington, MN. As a CNC Setup Operator, you will operate a computer numerical controlled lathe or multi-axis with minimal supervision. The position runs production lots, keeps records, communicates with co-workers and managers regarding production runs, and maintaining standards.What's an average day like as a CNC Setup Operator:Setup, load parts and cycle computer numerical control equipment per daily schedule on a lathePerform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results)Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.Read, understand, and interpret work instructions/setup documents and standard operating proceduresComplete and maintain paperwork for parts.Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career developmentMaintain a clean, organized work areaWhat do we look for in a CNC Setup Operator:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to perform basic mathematical computations including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportionsFollow written and verbal instructionsOne year related experience, training and/or technical educationProficiency with CNC controlsWorking knowledge of setup of lathe and multi-axis machinesSchedule:2nd shift 4:30 pm to 3:00 am Monday through ThursdayWeekend 6:00 am to 6:00 pm rotating shift, work 3 days, paid for 40 hrsExpress Employment Professionals provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers:Holiday and Vacation PayMedical Benefits401KDirect DepositWeekly PayExpress Employment Professionals is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
