Manufacturing TechnicianGEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Manufacturing Technician. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.GEODynamics recognizes that our diverse workforce is our greatest asset. When we contribute to the company's success, we all win.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret Technical DocumentsPreparing and selecting the correct tools, attachments, and materials for specific machine operations.Machine Setup and ConfigurationSetting up and adjusting the CNC machine's control system, including G-codes and M-codes, to ensure accurate machining.Perform initial test runs to verify machine settingsTroubleshoot and resolve machine issues due to set up or operationCalibrating and adjusting equipment for optimal performanceSafety and Housekeeping: Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Qualifications, Experience, Skills/KnowledgeAssociate in related field or 3-5 years of Machine Shop experience in a production settingStrong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, machine tool operation, and manufacturing processes.Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.Knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-codes and M-codes) and their application.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machine-related issues.Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the production team.Proficiency in basic mathematics and geometry.Performs preventative maintenance as required.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other relevant computer applications.Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.Physical RequirementsAbility to safely perform related physical demands of the roleBending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the timeRepetitive motion demandsHands/wrist/shoulder.Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds (over 50 pounds requires a team lift).An E-Verify EmployerUn Empleador de E-VerifyEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
