We offer opportunities to grow your technical skills, collaborate with experienced manufacturing professionals, and contribute to products that make a meaningful difference in patient care.Position SummaryThe CNC Swiss Setup Operator plays a critical role in supporting production goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for setting up and operating Citizen Swiss machines, troubleshooting issues, making offsets and tool changes, and ensuring machines continue running efficiently throughout production.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about precision manufacturing. This individual will work closely with production and quality teams to improve processes, reduce scrap, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Shift: Sun - Thurs, 11 PM - 7 AM, includes 10% shift differential. Overtime may be required.What You'll DoSetup and operate Citizen Swiss CNC machines to support production schedules and quality requirementsLoad bar stock, make offsets, change tools, and keep machines running efficientlyPerform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, VMMs, and other precision measuring equipmentTroubleshoot machining and equipment issues and escalate larger concerns when neededMonitor part quality and production output to ensure compliance with specificationsCollaborate with team members to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and support continuous improvement effortsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all quality procedures and safety standardsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious CNC machine operating experience or completion of CNC machining coursework/trainingExperience using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and related measuring toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience operating CNC Swiss machines with Mitsubishi ControlsSetup and program editing experienceKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesExperience working in a precision manufacturing or medical device environmentWhat Makes You SuccessfulStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesire to learn and continuously improvePride in producing precision components that support critical medical technologiesIf you're looking for an opportunity to grow your machining career while making an impact in the rewarding field of medical device manufacturing, we encourage you to apply.Cadence is an Equal Opportunity Employer; M/F/D/V encouraged to apply.
