We're looking for talented individuals who share our passion for excellence and innovation.Position Overview:In this position, the CNC Technician is responsible for setup, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems on HAAS Vertical Machining Centers and DMG-MORI Horizontal Machining Centers. The position requires working with various CNC machines to complete setups to ensure proper machine operation and troubleshooting when machine malfunctions, to correct issues.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on CNC machineryStrong familiarity with HAAS and DMG-MORI CNC Machining CentersSets up / change over jobs on CNC mills, changes tooling, adjusts offsets and calibrate probes to ensure parts are accurate and machine is functioning correctlyAssist team members with quality related questions / concernsEnsures equipment and process are qualified when released to operatorsCommunicate status of machine activities to supervisionInspect tool holders and machine function and schedule preventative maintenanceUnderstand how to troubleshoot from a technical standpoint. Work with machine tool dealer and technical manuals to correct issues they are not familiar withProvide training regarding basic safety, machine operation, quality.Instruct on machine fault resolutionWork with mechanics and do some light mechanical workDocument machine issuesAssist in normal production by operating equipment as directedOther Important Responsibilities:Must be able to operate assigned equipment safely and efficientlyHave a strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperativelyGood organizational and communication skillsMust be able to keep record of time spent and materials usedTimely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant situationsEngage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness ProgramsOther miscellaneous duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School or GED Diploma requiredMinimum 2 years of CNC Programming experienceMinimum 3 years or "VERY" strong HAAS experience including skilled operation of CNC MillsExperience in G & M CodeExperience in programming and setting up 3 & 4 axis Vertical and Horizontal Machining CentersExperience with CadCam software and Autocad or similar a plusGood working knowledge and understanding of tooling and proper usage, as well as speed & feed calculation. Materials Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics, and Steel.Task oriented, ability to prioritize work loadEnthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated, creative and innovativePhysical qualifications and work environment:Must be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to sustain physical work for 8+ hours per day including the following: Standing for 8+ hours per day Reaching and pulling Sight Walking through shop Bending, climbing and crouching.Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommendedShort notice, overtime and some weekend demand according to production needsCompoSecure offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are shaping the future of financial technology.Pay Range$19.38 - $31.01 HourlyOffers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications. Incentive Compensation This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan.
