Job TitleCNC TechnicianJob DescriptionThis CNC Technician will be in our Whitehall Casting Operation with primary responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:Provide off-shift manufacturing support and problem-solving CNC production issues.Design fixturing / select tooling for new castingsSpear head cycle time and tooling cost reduction effortsSupport continuous improvement initiativesCreate new CNC programsMaintain CNC program directory.QualificationsBASIC REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of five years working in manufacturing environment with hands-on CNC experience with CNC set-up and machining.Experience with CNC programming using CAD/CAMMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associate degree in a technical discipline preferredExperience with NX, Solid Works, Mastercam programming language/software, CAD systems and Mazak, Haas, Fadal, Hurco CNC machines a plusRenishaw Probe programmingPC literate in Microsoft Word and ExcelMechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skillsGood oral and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving acumen.About UsHowmet Aerospace Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.
