Head Varsity Boys Swim Coach
Detroit Lakes Public Schools is seeking a Head Boys Swim Coach to lead its Swim/Diveprogram and coach at the varsity level.
Qualifications
Ability to effectively manage a Swim Program
Provide expertise in program and goal development
Ability to coach varsity swim
Previous swim coaching experience required
Ability to work with and lead staff of assistant coaches
Minimum of six quarter credits, or the equivalent, or 60 clock hours of instruction in first aid and/or care and prevention of athletic injuries; and can verify completion of a coaching methods or theory course
Ability to teach swim/diveskills and prepare a team
Ability to establish player discipline
Ability to communicate effectively with assistant coaches, players,parents, and administration
Adherence to MSHSL Code of Ethics for Coaches
Provide positive leadership and present self and program in a professional manner with class at all times
Salary and Benefits
Coaching salaries are dependent upon qualifications and experience and as per the EMDL Master Agreement
