Cobalt TN Gelcoater IICobalt TN - Lenoir, TN 37771Job Title: GelCoaterDepartment: GelcoatReports To: Department SupervisorFLSA Status: HourlySummary: Applies gelcoat to the mold using an atomized spray gun process system.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must possess the ability to use and understand air assisted gelcoat equipment.Ability to calibrate and apply gelcoat consistent with Cobalt quality.Read and understand work orders then apply gelcoat on parts based on production order specifications.Maintain gelcoat equipment by performing periodic and routine maintenance of equipment.Assist in manually moving molds in and out of the gelcoat booths.General housekeeping of area and equipment.Assists in changing out 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails of material at gel pumps.Must demonstrate the ability to make sound quality decisions independently.Other duties as required.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ability to communicate effectively is a key element to achieve success in this position.Mathematical Skills: General math skills required.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
