Located inside the UTC Mall, we are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and serious Manager to help us deliver a top-notch dining experience to our valued customers.Le Parfait is looking for a French Bakery and Pastry shop Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Some of other responsibilities include scheduling shifts for staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues, and doing the weekly inventory. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee/café shops or restaurants. Daily parking pass is $5 a day.POSITION AVAILABLE NOW- MUST HAVE WEEKDAYS/HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AVAILABLEBenefit$20/hrs + tips (about $26-$29/hrs)Incentive pay based on grading1 week paid vacation after 6 months workedProgressive compensation based on performance evaluationPaid training to prepare you for successHealth insurance benefits after 3 months worked (50% of insurance paid from company)Cal Saving retirement planResponsibilities:Warmly welcome and bid farewell to customersEnhance sales by recommending our delectable French cuisines and sweets offeringsManage day-to-day operations of the cafe with a total of 10 employees (mix of part time and full time)Onboard new wait staff and baristasTrain employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment, customer service, and salesUnderstand the labor cost/percentage and schedule accordinglyDo the weekly inventory (like packaging, wines, cleaning supplies...)Ensure all shop areas are clean and tidyAdvise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer serviceNurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputationQualifications:Proficiency in basic mathWork experience as a Cafe/coffee shop managerKeen eye for detailExcellent communication and listening skills with the ability to manage and motivate a teamFriendly and outgoing personalityBe reliable, honest, and punctualHave hospitality or food service experienceHigh school diplomaAdditional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality, Food manager license) is a plusIf you are a motivated and self-driven individual who is enthusiastic about French cuisine/dessert and providing outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you!Opportunity for growth as the company is in expansion with already 7 stores in San Diego area and 1 store in Anaheim.
