Job description
Hourly Pay Range: $41.86 - $64.88 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
* Position: Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology
* Location: Glenbrook Hospital/Glenbrook Kellogg Cancer Center - Glenview, IL
* Full Time | 40 hours/week
* Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays.
* Required Travel : May float to Evanston and Highland Park Kellogg Cancer Centers, as needed.
What you will do:
* Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
* Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
* Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
* Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What you will need:
* Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
* Education: Associate's in Nursing, required . Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.
* Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required ; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience, highly preferred .
