Collections CoordinatorWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Collections Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, collect outstanding balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain positive customer relationships while protecting company assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in commercial collections.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of commercial accounts.Collect outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements.Maintain positive customer relationships while protecting company assets.Handle difficult conversations professionally to maintain customer relationships.Essential Skills2+ years experience in a similar position.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet collection goals in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Experience in commercial collections.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally while maintaining customer relationships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work EnvironmentThe position requires on-site work from Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour workday and a half-hour to one-hour lunch break.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrington, DE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
