Color Lab Technician / Color Lab Support AssociateLocation: Shakeopee, MNType: ContractCompensation: $22 per hourWork Model: OnsiteHours: M-F 7 AM- 4 PMResponsibilities:Prepare products and samples to support Color Lab operationsTransfer product from 5-gallon pails into quart containers accuratelyPour and transfer coating materials safely and efficientlyPrepare and solidify products and samples according to laboratory proceduresLabel, package, and organize customer samples for shipmentVerify sample accuracy before shipmentPerform routine checks on automatic pigment dispensersCalibrate laboratory equipment as neededFollow all safety, health, environmental, and quality proceduresWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and hazards immediatelySupport ISO quality and environmental compliance initiativesComplete special projects and other duties assigned by the Color Lab SupervisorMaintain high standards of safety, environmental responsibility, teamwork, and performanceRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility and willingness to support the Color Lab team in a laboratory and manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in coatings, paint, manufacturing, laboratory, or related environments is preferred but not requiredAbility to safely handle and transfer coating and laboratory materialsAbility to pour and transfer products from large containers into smaller containersAbility to prepare, solidify, and package products and samples according to established proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and proceduresAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver containers weighing up to 65 lbsCommitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards
