Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting customized care strategies
Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or autonomously, as permitted by your credentials
Providing valuable education to patients and families about preventive health, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up care and managing long-term health conditions
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care
Maintaining precise and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to acquire within 90 days)
