You'll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.Job RequirementsPerform field inspections during various stages of constructionRead and examine plans and specifications when requiredReport violations and maintain files/recordsPerform other related duties as requiredSkillsExtensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technologyInterpretation of codes in the field and ability to provide code compliant solutionsMust possess the ability to positively interact with the other staff members, the general public, contractors, governmental entities, and other clienteleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood time management, organization, and attention to detail skillsDemonstrated ability to exercise initiative and a considerable amount of independent judgmentSpecial License/Registration/CertificationICC Residential or Commercial Building Inspector Certification requiredICC Inspector Certifications in additional trades preferredCO Electrician License preferredExperience3-5 Years of experience in municipal code inspections preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License with a good driving recordCompensationCompetitive salary and benefits package. Hourly Rate: $36-$40.75
