As the Director of Business Development, you will lead our hospice growth strategy, expand referral partnerships, and strengthen our presence within the healthcare community. You will shape organizational growth, collaborate with executive and clinical leaders, and help ensure more patients and families have access to exceptional hospice care when they need it most. Your Impact Lead all business development and marketing initiatives for the agency.
Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand hospice referrals and market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, and other key referral sources.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development team.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
Partner with operational and clinical leaders to promote specialty programs and service offerings.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and payer relationships.
Negotiate and maintain relationships with managed care organizations, government agencies, and payer sources.
Monitor marketing effectiveness and ensure business development activities align with organizational goals.

Requirements
3+ years of healthcare business development, sales, or marketing leadership experience, preferably in hospice, home health, or post-acute care.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration preferred, but not required.
Proven success developing referral networks and driving census growth.
Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing professional sales teams.
Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze markets and execute growth initiatives.
Knowledge of healthcare operations, payer environments, and business management principles.
