Job description
Job TitleThis position is responsible for manning the Command Center or Podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls, and maintain required log books.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the companyEnsures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complexConducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and proceduresPrepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise mannerOperates and monitors the fire alarm and security CCTV systemsMaintains accurate security incident logsOperates and monitors all holdup alarm systemsImplements notification process in emergency situations i.e., fire, bomb threat, weather emergencies, etcAssists in the coordination of emergency situationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceMust apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming LicenseValid Motor Vehicle License with good driving recordMust be able to complete standard company forms and reportsThe Company gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
