Landscape Maintenance Account Manager Position Overview
The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, contract performance, enhancement sales, and overall service quality for assigned landscape maintenance accounts. This role works closely with production teams to ensure properties are maintained to company standards while identifying opportunities for additional services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with assigned landscape maintenance clients.
Conduct regular property visits and quality inspections.
Resolve client concerns and respond to communication within 24 hours.
Identify, estimate, and sell landscape enhancement opportunities.
Monitor contracts, budgets, labor hours, and overall account performance.
Coordinate enhancement projects with production teams from scheduling through completion.
Ensure completed enhancement projects are invoiced promptly.
Maintain accurate schedules, client meetings, leads, and sales opportunities.
Assist with hiring, employee evaluations, performance management, and other team needs.
Support safety procedures and company standards.
Assist with snow operations when needed.
Requirements
5+ years of landscape maintenance experience.
Previous account management, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance operations.
Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work additional hours and weekends during peak season.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
