nThe Difference You Make:
nThe Associate, Portfolio Management & Oversight - Appraisal Reviewer is responsible for supporting the Appraisal Department by analyzing and resolving complex appraisal issues, documenting results and assisting the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Manager and department staff as needed.
nPosition Summary
nnnSolicit bids for appraisal/valuation services as needed.
n
nnEngage fee appraisers to complete appraisal/valuation assignments as needed.
n
nnIndependently review real estate appraisal/valuation reports in a timely manner; prepare Standard 3 review or compliance review as appropriate.
n
nnEnsure appraisals are reasonable, supported, credible and prepared in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements as well as professional appraisal standards.
n
nnEnsure appraisals are prepared in conformance with the Bank's commercial real estate appraisal policies and procedures.
n
nnAssist with internal and external audits, ad hoc projects, and analyses as requested by the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Manager.
n
nnContinually expand knowledge of current topics, trends, and developments in commercial real estate valuation by attendance at industry events, seminars, etc.
n
nnAct as a resource for third-party appraisal vendors and appraisal management companies.
n
nnEngage in regular communication with and serve as an advisor to Bank colleagues on appraisal and real estate valuation matters.
n
nnMaintain appropriate licensing through continuing education or further development through appropriate qualifying education.

nEducation:
nnBachelor's Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required.
n nProfessional Experience:
nnn5+ Years experience in commercial real estate appraisal/valuation, appraisal review or review experience within a regulated financial institution - Required.
n
nnExperience with appraisal management software (i.e. C360, RIMS, etc.) - Preferred.
n
nnExperience with financial modeling of commercial property types in ARGUS Enterprise software - Preferred.
n
n nSkills
nnnKnowledge of industry standards and practices, including compliance and regulations.
n
nnExperience with Microsoft Office 365 products.
n
nnStrong analytical, customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
n
nnMust possess high attention to detail and accuracy.
n
nnExcellent time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
n
nnMust be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and escalate issues when appropriate.
n
nnAbility to work collaboratively with flexibility to work hours needed to meet irregular demands and deadlines.
n
nnAbility to travel as needed.
n
n nCertifications:
nnState Certified General Appraiser license in good standing - Required.
n nIt Would Be Nice For You To Have:
nEstablished work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

nWhat Else You Need To Know:
nThe base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

n$78,750.00 USD
nMaximum:
n$130,000.00 USD
