Commercial CarpenterWe are hiring experienced Commercial Carpenters for commercial and industrial construction projects in Deatsville, AL. Candidates from Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka, Montgomery, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesPerform framing, installation, and general commercial carpentry workRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsMeasure, cut, and install materials accuratelyBuild and install walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and other structuresUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAssist with layout and preparation of construction areasRequirements2 years previous commercial carpentry experience – REQUIREDExperience working on active commercial construction sitesStrong knowledge of commercial carpentry methods and materialsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsProficient with common carpentry hand and power toolsAbility to accurately measure, cut, and install materialsReliable transportation and dependable attendanceMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass required drug screen and background checksWhat We OfferWeekly PayMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability InsuranceOpportunities for ongoing commercial construction workPPE RequirementsAll employees must have the required PPE, including:Hard hatWork bootsSafety vestSafety glassesWork glovesAll SLS employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
