Heavy Equipment OperatorWe are looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator for a commercial contractor located in Medford, OR. They specialize in everything from small remodel projects to industrial and manufacturing structures. You'll be successful if you have a positive attitude, and work well with a fast paced team. Think you have what it takes?Your workday might look like this:Operating Heavy EquipmentConduct Heavy Equipment safety checks, and preventative maintenanceMaintain a safe work environmentIdentify possible safety hazards, and ensure issues are promptly addressed.Place underground pipeAssist with other construction activities as directedYou need to have:2+ years of civil experience with any of the following: excavator, backhoe, front end loader, tractor, or other heavy equipment.Ability to communicate effectively with team and supervisorsAbility to travel to out of town jobsMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.OSHA 10 or 30 a plusCDL PreferredAbility to set grades and to understand plans/specs is a HUGE plusWork schedule is Monday through Fridays and overtime if needed.
