Commercial Custom ApplicatorWestby Agronomy - Westby, WI 54667DescriptionThis role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and contributing to the success of local members.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain application equipment for the custom application of crop protection products, fertilizer, lime, and other agronomic inputs.Safely handle, mix, load, and transport agricultural products while following company, state, and federal regulations.Complete application records and required documentation accurately and timely.Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on equipment and facilities.Assist with agronomy operations including product receiving, inventory management, and warehouse activities.Support customers and coworkers with a strong commitment to safety and service.Additional Duties May IncludeDepending on the location and season, employees may assist with:Commercial truck driving and product deliveryGrain receiving, handling, drying, and facility operationsCrop scouting and field observationsEquipment and facility maintenanceShop work and mechanical repairsSeed treatment and seed handlingLoading and unloading productsGeneral agronomy support activitiesSnow removal and grounds maintenanceOther operational duties as assignedWhy Join Premier Cooperative?Competitive payOvertime opportunitiesTraining and certification supportAdvancement opportunities across multiple business divisionsExcellent benefits package for eligible employeesOpportunity to work in a team-oriented agricultural environment that supports local farmers and rural communitiesQualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Agricultural background or experience preferred but not required.CDL or ability to obtain a CDL preferred.Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain required certifications.Ability to safely operate equipment and work independently.Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours during peak seasons.
