nSummary of Key Responsibilities
nResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
nnnLead his/her respective business as a priority within the NCP Go-To-Market strategy to achieve all Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales Fundamental objectives. A steward of all NCP brands.
n
nnDrive sales/customer needs to marketing and translate category-marketing plans into CPG plans that build brand equity and grow market share.
n
nnDevelop and deploy clear communication and cohesive business plans to CPG/3rd party retail partner teams.
n
nnCo-creates innovative ideas with the category/marketing organization to address CPG customer's needs.
n
nnLead customer forecast process and ensure the supply plan is sufficient to meet customer needs.
n
nnChampion business building ideas based on customer and customer team communications and market/customer analyses.
n
nnLead ongoing business updates and reporting with cross-functional partners designed to drive business goals.
n
nnDrive quarterly business planning and post promotion analysis for top customers
n
nnEnsure Go-To-Market plans, materials, and approach aligns with NCP and the overall brand strategy.
n
nnUnderstand the key business drivers at each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer to identify opportunities for growth
n
nnResponsible for development and management of the CPG Go-To-Market plan for his/her respective brand to ensure sufficiency to deliver CPG corporate goals.
n
nnIntegrates the work of NCP categories, marketing and sales planning to deliver cohesive aligned programs
n
nnExhibit strong business acumen and financial discipline when constructing and selling ideas and solutions.
n
nnEducate multi-functional business partners on requirements of CPG customers
n
n nSummary of Experience
nnnA minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales required.
n
nnExperience supporting business performance through analytics, reporting, and sales-related planning activities.
n
nnExperience developing presentations and business materials to support commercial planning and field sales execution.
n
n nBasic Qualifications
nnnHigh School diploma/GED required
n
nnBachelor's degree preferred
n
nnExperience calling on a CPG retailer with responsibilities including new item presentations, promotional presentations, seasonal presentations, strategic collaborative planning presentations etc.
n
n nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
nnnAbility to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
n
nnAbility to successfully track and analyze business with very strong excel skills and analytical capabilities that can enable critical decision-making. .
n
nnAbility to build diverse, collaborative relationships.
n
nnAbility to align strategy, leverage multi-functional resources, and shopper marketing analytics
n
nnUnderstands the CPG industry and how the Sales Planning role enables the sales teams to sell
n
nnPossesses some Financial Acumen, ability to negotiate and reach win/win agreements
n
nnIdentifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
n
n nSalary: $82,624.05 to $124,329.95 per year
nBonus Eligibility: Yes
nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
