Commercial ElectricianTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Electricians for projects located in or around Barrington, IL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls in commercial environmentsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsInstall and bend EMT, Rigid, PVC, and Flexible conduit up to 2"Install cable trays, electrical wire, and electrical devicesTroubleshoot electrical systems using testing equipment to identify and resolve issuesInstall and terminate motors, transformers, panels, switchgear, lighting, receptacles, and control systemsPerform preventative maintenance on electrical equipmentEnsure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codesCollaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects safely and on scheduleRespond to emergency service calls and equipment failures as neededOperate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and forkliftsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsExperience installing and bending conduit up to 2"Experience installing and terminating motors, transformers, panels, switchgear, lighting, receptacles, and control systemsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of NEC and OSHA requirementsExperience operating aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and forkliftsMust be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a teamBe Safe from fraud!
