Join our team today and help us build something great!Essential Functions:Set up, maintain, and clean up project sites to ensure safe work practices and OSHA compliance at all timesRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specificationsAccurately measure, cut, and fabricate aluminum framing, glass, and related materialsInstall commercial glazing systems, including storefront, curtain wall, windows, entrances, and doors, and seal them weathertightSafely operate lifts, suction cups, and rigging equipment, and properly manage all assigned tools and materialsReport any safety concerns immediately, stopping work if necessary for safetyReport to the job on time and ready to work, and follow company policies and standards of conduct at all timesEmbody and model company values of Family Culture, JR Attitude (humility, teachable), Extreme Ownership, Grow or Die (growth mindset, motivated, innovative)Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience:1-5+ years experience in construction or commercial glazing (preferred)OSHA 10 hour training (minimum) (or ability to obtain)Aerial/scissor lift certification (preferred)Ability to read a tape measure accurately and use basic hand and power toolsAbility to follow directions and pay attention to detailsWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test programAble to obtain security clearance on military job sites (Preferred)Travel, weekends, and overtime are required (based on project schedules)Ability to perform elevated work (lifts, scaffolding, ladders, heights)Bending, kneeling, walking, lifting, carrying (up to 75 lbs) (Daily)Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)Valid transportation required to report to job sitesBenefits & Compensation:Health, dental, vision, life insurancePaid time offPaid parental leave401(k) with company matchFringe benefit sub-plan (where applicable)Weekly payWork Location & Schedule:In Person: Kansas City, MO 64108: Relocate before starting work (Required)Mon-Fri day shiftFrequent overtime and weekends (based on project schedules)J.R. & Co., Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
