Commercial Interiors Superintendent
Location : Manhattan, NY
Salary: $210,000 DOE
We have been exclusively retained by a leading commercial interiors contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-end workplace environments across the New York metropolitan area.
With a substantial pipeline of secured work and continued growth across both Manhattan and New Jersey, our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their leadership team.
The company specializes in complex corporate interiors and workplace fit-out projects, typically valued at $10M+, for some of the most prestigious clients and buildings in the region. Their project portfolio consistently features high-profile, design-driven spaces delivered to the highest standards of quality and execution.
Initially, this role will oversee projects throughout Manhattan, with a longer-term opportunity to play a key role in the expansion and growth of operations within the Monmouth County, NJ market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project completion
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives
Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently
Maintain the highest standards of quality control and workmanship
Enforce site safety procedures and company best practices
Collaborate closely with Project Management teams to ensure successful project delivery
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
Requirements
Proven experience as a Superintendent delivering commercial interiors projects
Track record overseeing projects valued at $10M+
Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience working within occupied buildings and high-end corporate environments is highly desirable
