Commercial Laundry Maintenance TechnicianSince its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company. Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board. We are currently seeking Full Time Commercial Laundry Maintenance Technician to work out of our Piscataway, NJ location. Will do light travel between sites in central New Jersey.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but not limited to:What You'll DoPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial washers and dryers (gas & electric)Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults — control boards, motors, bearings, valves, and moreService card-operated payment systems (Laundroworks & ESD) and bill changers at our vended locationsCoordinate with wash & fold attendants on machine availability and repair timelinesInspect plumbing, water pressure, and drainage; coordinate with contractors when neededTrack parts inventory and log all maintenance activityQualificationsWhat We're Looking For2+ years repairing commercial laundry equipment (any major brand)Comfortable with 120V–240V single and three-phase electrical systemsExperience with gas dryer burner assemblies and gas valve systemsAbility to read wiring diagrams and service manualsValid driver's license — you'll travel between sitesAble to lift 75 lbs and work in hot, humid environmentsBonus points for:Experience with Laundroworks or ESD card payment systemsEPA 608 certification or HVAC/R backgroundBilingual English/SpanishIn return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits for full time employees, including medical and dental and vision benefits, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancement.
