Commercial Lines Account ManagerThe Commercial Lines Account Manager provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, producers and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts. Essential tasks include planning, designing and implementing appropriate insurance programs for clients that coincide with agency guidelines. The role also involves maintaining knowledge of new developments or changes with various carriers and new Federal/State laws that may affect how our clients conduct business; consulting, informing and educating clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures. Additionally, the role provides technical support to Producers, investigates, initiates and prepares necessary proposals and applications, and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions. The Commercial Lines Account Manager represents the agency in conjunction with producers in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes, or resolving grievances; develops and maintains a positive relationship and rapport with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients' needs and facilitate the processing of business. The role also seeks referrals from client base and follows through to get new accounts, provides mentoring and guidance to Customer Service Representatives, and manages physical requirements such as lifting, reading, communicating, and repetitive hand movements.
