Overview
Our client is a Top 30 P&C Broker dedicated to delivering comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our commercial clients. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join us in supporting and expanding client relationships. Ideal individual will have experience managing middle and largest market accounts, experience servicing energy sector clients (preferred, not required), and in-depth knowledge of servicing and placing property coverage.
Compensation and Location
Location: Stamford, CT – REMOTE – must live in NJ, PA, CT, or NY to be considered
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, plus bonus

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager with a strong background in servicing clients, collaborating with underwriters, and delivering high levels of customer service. In this client-focused role, you will manage a portfolio of complex commercial accounts, provide strategic support, and ensure coverage aligns with the unique risks of energy industry clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a book of commercial accounts, with a focus on clients in the oil & gas, renewable energy, utilities, and other energy-related industries.
Advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage, with a specific emphasis on property risks and exposures.
Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance.
Work closely with producers, underwriters, and carriers to negotiate terms and ensure optimal coverage solutions.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal summaries.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS360).
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and risk management support.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
In-depth knowledge of commercial property insurance, including business interruption, inland marine, and equipment coverage.
Strong understanding of the unique exposures faced by energy-related businesses.
Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
