nFirst Independent Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated Commercial Lines Producer to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone with proven sales ability who wants to build a rewarding career in commercial insurance and play an important role in the continued growth of our agency. Insurance experience is not required.
nWe're looking for someone who is driven, proactive, relationship-focused, and comfortable pursuing new business. Commercial insurance experience is preferred, but the right sales professional with a strong work ethic and desire to learn is encouraged to apply.
nWhat You'll Do
nGenerate leads and actively pursue new commercial business opportunities.
nDevelop relationships with business owners and prospective clients.
nIdentify client needs and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions.
nEducate clients on coverage options and help them make informed decisions.
nFollow up consistently with prospects, leads, referrals, and opportunities.
nPrepare and present insurance proposals and work toward closing new business.
nBuild long-term client relationships that lead to retention, referrals, and account growth.
nMaintain accurate client records and sales activity.
nCollaborate with the agency team to move opportunities from prospect to bound account.
nStay informed on commercial insurance products, markets, and industry developments.
nWork toward and achieve individual and agency production goals.
nWhat We're Looking For
nPrior sales experience and prospecting experience is required.
nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.
nConfident and comfortable initiating sales conversations.
nGoal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
nPersistent with strong follow-up and prospecting skills.
nOrganized and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
nSelf-motivated while also being a strong team player.
nProfessional, coachable, and eager to continue developing your skills.
nComfortable learning and using agency management systems, CRM tools, and technology.
